The English Language Department aims to develop the potential of every student to be confident communicators and writers of English Language.

With the implementation of STELLAR (Strategies of English Language Learning and Reading) as the main approach and enriched with our school programmes, we hope to create a vibrant learning environment, promote enjoyment of learning and equip the students with the right skills to meet the global demands of the competitive world.

Reading Programme - Morning Reads

Morning Reads gives students a platform to share a book, newspaper article, new library book, or topic of their choice. It helps them develop public speaking skills and build confidence in engaging with a live audience.

English & Aesthetic Week – Storybook Character Day Teachers and Pupils in Action!

Teachers are also encouraged to dress up as storybook characters.

The annual English and Aesthetics Week is filled with engaging English Language activities that incorporate Art. It is a collaborative effort between departments to bring meaningful learning experiences to students. Students also share about the characters they dressed up as for Storybook Character Day.
