The Library CCA offers a comprehensive programme that nurtures students’ love for reading, research skills, and information literacy through progressive learning. Primary 3 students begin by developing basic library skills, including book care, simple cataloguing awareness, and reading appreciation activities. In Primary 4, they deepen their understanding of information search strategies, basic referencing skills, and support in organising library resources.
Primary 5 and Primary 6 students explore advanced research skills, digital literacy, and event planning, including organising reading campaigns and literacy-based activities for the school community.
The Library CCA provides an excellent platform for students to cultivate a passion for books while developing leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. It offers meaningful opportunities for members to take ownership of library initiatives and serve as reading ambassadors.
